Join us this Saturday, August 2nd for a creative adventure in words! As part of Art on Main, we're hosting a drop-in blackout poetry workshop where you'll transform existing text into something entirely new and beautiful.
What's blackout poetry? Using markers and old book pages, you'll "black out" words to reveal hidden poems, creating stunning visual art pieces that tell your unique story. It's like treasure hunting for words!
Perfect for: All ages and skill levels - whether you're a seasoned poet or have never written a line of verse. No experience necessary!
What we provide: All materials including book pages, markers, and expert guidance from our friendly instructors who'll help you discover the magic hiding in plain text.
When: Saturday, August 2nd, 10:00am - 1:00pm
